四国霊場八十八カ所の第三番札所。本尊は、弘法大師が作ったとされる釈迦如来。天平時代に行基菩薩が創建。境内の「黄金井戸」は長寿に霊験があるという。新緑に朱色の多宝塔が映えていた。

That is the 3th temple of Shikoku 88temple pilgrimage,was founded by Buddist saint Gyoki in the Tenpyo period. The lord is Syaka Nyorai that is reported to have been created by Kobo Daishi.The “golden well” in the precinct is said to have the power of longevity. The red pagoda looked good on fresh green.

四国八十八个朝圣的第三座寺庙。本尊是釈迦如来，据报道是由弘法大师创建的。在天平时期行基菩萨建立了。 据说这个区域的“黄金井”具有长寿的力量。红色的宝塔在新鲜的绿色上看起来很好。

“Chomei cedar”is famous. This is planted by Kobo Daishi himself.I felt a strong vitality.

Shikoku 88temple pilgrimage the 72th temple. According to history of this temple, the foundation is the oldest in Shikoku 88temple pilgrimage 596 years. The main priest is Dainichinyorai. The stone statue’s Dainichinyorai’s face is so beautiful.

Shikoku 88temple pilgrimage the 3th temple.The water of the well which Kukai dug in this place was said to be a spirit and it was the origin of the name of the temple. The plum was in full bloom and scents started to drift.

Osu kannon is the center of Shingon sect Chizan school principal and one of three prime kannon in Japan. There is the Kojiki’s oldest manuscript.This day wrestling was held on the precincts at the Osu Odori town People Festival.
