四国八十八カ所霊場の第七十七番札所。本尊は薬師如来。真言宗醍醐派総本山。金倉寺から多度津の田園地帯を瀬戸内海に向かって約4キロ歩いて到着。仁王門の門前にある遍路用品店が遍路の情緒を醸し出している。境内には多数の小さい祠（ほこら）がある。
That is the 77 th temple of Shikoku 88temple pilgrimage.The principal image is Yakushi Nyorai.That is the head temple of Daigo school of Shingon sect.From Konzoji Temple, I walkIed about four kilometers through Tadotsu’s rural area toward the Seto Inland Sea. The pilgrimage goods store in front of the gate of Niomon creates an atmosphere of pilgrimage. There are many small hokora (small shrines) in the precincts of the shrine.
