札幌新千歳空港から成田空港への空の旅。幸運にもブロッケン現象を目撃した。ブロッケン現象とは、背後の太陽の光が影側の雲や霧の粒によって光が散乱し、虹のような光の輪となって現れる現象。山岳の気象現象として有名だが、航空機から見えることもある。名前は、ドイツ最高峰のブロッケン山でよく見られたことに由来するという。別名ブロッケンの妖怪。日本では、御来迎と呼ばれている。しばらくこの不思議な光景に見とれた。
