四国別格二十霊場の第十一番札所。本尊は、延命地蔵菩薩。開基は弘法大師。弘法大師が生きた楠の大木に一夜で地蔵菩薩を刻んだので「生木地蔵（いききじぞう）」と呼ばれるようになったという。樹齢1200年と言われたこの楠は1954年の台風で倒れたが、刻まれた地蔵菩薩は無事だったので本尊として祀られた。お参り中に雨が突然降りだした。楠が倒れたことを悲しんでいたかのようだった。

That is the 11th temple of Shikoku exceptional Sacred Sites. The honzon (principal image of Buddha) is Enmei Jizo Bosatsu. It was founded by Kobo Daishi.It is said that Kobo Daishi carved Jizo Bosatsu in one night on a large camphor tree, which led to it being called “Ikiki Jizo”. The camphor tree, said to be 1200 years old, collapsed in a typhoon in 1954, but the engraved Jizo Bosatsu was safe and was enshrined as the principal image. While I was praying, it suddenly began to rain. That seemed to be sad that the camphor tree had fallen.

四国特別朝圣的第十一座寺庙。主佛是延命地藏菩萨。创立于弘法大师。弘法大师活着的樟树的大树下一夜刻上地藏菩萨,因此也被称为「生木地藏」。这棵据说有1200年树龄的樟树,在1954年的台风中倒下了,但雕刻的地藏菩萨平安,因此被供奉为本尊。参拜的时候突然下起了雨。似乎对樟树倒下感到悲伤。
